• Diane has been president and CEO since May 2011. In 2003, she joined the company as president and added chief operating officer to her responsibilities in 2006. Beginning in 2001, she was vice chairman of the Footwear Group at Phillips-Van Heusen. From 1995 to 2001, Diane was president and chief operating officer of Stride Rite Corporation, where she served as group president of Tommy Hilfiger, Stride Rite Children's and Sperry.

• Rick is retail division president and president of Famous Footwear. He previously was president of Brown Shoe Company’s New York Division. Beginning in 2002, Rick served as senior vice president and chief merchandising officer of Brown Shoe Company's Famous Footwear division.

Samuel Edelman

Founder of Sam Edelman Shoe and Division President

• Sam is a creative visionary and a legend in the footwear industry. He has been a dominant force in fashion, making an indelible impact on some of the most renowned contemporary footwear brands over the past 30 years. The Sam Edelman brand was launched in 2004 and acquired by Brown Shoe Company in 2010. Sam retains his role as president of the Sam Edelman division and continues to be based in Edelman Shoe’s Manhattan offices and design studios.

Dan Friedman

Division President, Global Sourcing and Supply Chain

• Dan is division president of global sourcing and supply chain and has responsibility for global product development and sourcing, including logistics. Dan joined the company in 2006, first serving as senior vice president of product and sourcing, before becoming division president of wholesale product and sourcing. He previously served as managing director at Camuto Group and has also held various executive positions with U.S. Shoe and Nine West.

Russ Hammer

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

• Russ joined Brown Shoe Company as CFO in June 2012. Before joining the company, he most recently served as chief financial officer of Orbitz Worldwide. Prior to that role, he was chief financial officer of Crocs, Inc., where he led the company’s restructuring efforts and supported its successful turnaround. Russ began his career at Motorola, Inc., where he held a variety of senior executive positions over his 29-year tenure.

Senior Vice President, Chief Talent Officer

• Doug has been senior vice president and chief talent and strategy officer, since May 2005. Prior to that time, he was senior vice president of human resources. Doug also served as senior vice president of human resources for Brown Shoe Company's Famous Footwear division, beginning in 2000.

• John Mazurk is division president, Healthy Living Brands for Brown Shoe Company, Inc. In this role, he oversees the company’s healthy living platform which includes the company’s Naturalizer, Naya, Natural Soul, Nevados, Dr. Scholl’s Shoes, LifeStride, Avia and Ryka brands.
